Good Afternoon!! I missed last Monday’s post. Last week was our first full week of school, but we successfully weeded through numerous emails from teachers and coordinated schedules to meet with them, and the boys are ready to go…well, as ready as they’ll be. I was also working on some writing related things, more on that in the days to come. The boys and I enjoyed watching the eclipse coverage on TV. It was cloudy over here, and we didn’t really see any effects of it. But how exciting to watch it on TV, from those areas where they were in the direct path. Hope everyone has a great week!!

HAPPENINGS AROUND TOWN:
We enjoyed the AquaX Jet Ski races again this year. More people came out to watch, and the course seemed like it was closer in. A beautiful day, but the waves were kicking up again. Always a nice time at the lake.
My daughter and I went to a block party that one of the local businesses held on Friday. It’s a home decor shop with a lot of vintage items. Just outside their shop they blocked off the street, had some tents set up for other vendors and a band. There were several boutique type vendors, and food vendors.
FAVORITE VIDEO FROM THE INTERNET:
I found this video to be fascinating. These choreographers spoke two different languages, and could not understand each other, but were able to come up with a dance routine together.

ON MY PLAYLIST:
Great eclipse cartoon. We really lucked out here. It rained all morning, cleared in the afternoon just in time for the eclipse, and then clouded back over. We were in the totality viewing area and I did think it lived up to the hype. Hope you are in the middle of a great 2nd week of school!
